Saying Goodbye Services, through their parent company CCEM, have launched a set of national remembrance services for people who are surviving the trauma of early pregnancy loss, stillbirth and neonatal death
The services are for parents, partners, their children and their extended family and friends. Family and friends who need to say goodbye or want to go along with a friend who needs to say goodbye, are welcome at any of the services.
The services are being held between September and December 2012 and encompasses Baby Loss Awareness Week (8th to the 14th October 2012) with the Wave of Light being celebrated on Sunday 14th October at 7pm. There may also be Baby Loss Awareness events near you, offering the same opportunity to say goodbye and to remember.
Loss at any stage is traumatic and early loss is often not acknowledged or discussed. The opportunity to remember and acknowledge early pregnancy loss, provided by the Saying Goodbye Services and the Baby Loss Awareness Campaign offer a chance to share with other people who can identify with the experience and to acknowledge the life that has been lost and to grieve.
