Fundraisers’ Blog

We keep a fundraisers’ diary on the website where we record what people have done or are doing to raise funds and support the EPT - would you like to support one of our fundraisers? Find out what they will be doing to raise money for the Trust and read about their efforts in their own words in our fundraisers’ diary.

If you’re planning an event let us know and we will promote you on the website. Take a look some of things our fundraisers have done. We’ll send you a bespoke fundraising pack with everything you need to make your event go well, direct you to the place where you can set up an online fundraising page and we’ll publicise the event through our fundraisers’ diary if you would let us, so make sure you contact us in advance.

Fundraise for us using Virgin Money Giving

There are other ways to support our fundraising efforts:

Everyclick

Consider using everyclick as your search engine. Every time you search with everyclick using the link, they donate 1p to us. Between August 2006 and September 2009 our supporters who had been clicking with everyclick added around £600, which is enough to sustain our website and forum pages for more than four weeks . It costs users nothing at all from their own pockets, so please do give it a go and click with everyclick, as it really does help. Why not visit  everyclick now and then send the URL to your friends and family and ask them to make our portal to everyclick something they use regularly as well?

eBay

If you buy and sell on eBay, you can choose to donate a percentage of your sale to us. Just remember to complete the donation instruction on the sale template when you set up your sale.

Charity greeting cards

Send an E-Greeting Card instead of a paper one and support us. We work in partnership with CharityGreetings. If you send egreeting cards, the e-card you send results in a donation being passed on to us. Check out what they have to offer here.

Buyat

Shop though our shopping page at Buy-at and we receive a percentage to help support us here, at no extra cost to you. If you shop on-line you can really help to make a difference to us. Find out how here .

Give and Celebrate

Some of our supporters have chosen to ask for donations to the Trust in lieu of, for example, wedding, birthday and christening presents. If it’s a gift, please consider Gift Share through our partners or simply set up a fundraising page and ask people to donate to that in lieu of your special event. We use Virgin Money Giving for these generous donations. If you need more information, please contact us.

Give as you earn (GAYE)

To join Give As You Earn your employer will need to be running a scheme. Our bank, CAF Bank, will help you find out if your employer is already running a scheme and if not, will even approach them to set one up.

Gifting in wills

This is called legacy giving. If you would like to find out more about leaving money to the Trust in your Will, please contact us.

Corporate giving

If you would like more information about corporate giving, please contact us.
