Volunteering
The most valuable asset the EPT has is its volunteers. We are very proud that our services are delivered to such a high standard, through our trained or appropriately qualified volunteers.
The benefits of volunteering with the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust include:
- Access to our password protected website area for more detailed volunteer information
- Access to the Volunteers’ forum on the message boards.
- Access to more detailed and up-to-date news
- Our reviewed comprehensive policies and procedures, on-line, to assist with the proper delivery of our services. We require all volunteers to adhere to our policies, and to understand the importance of confidentiality.
- On-going training and support through our volunteer training programme, with regularly updated written information and an annual training day
- An opportunity to participate and contribute in ways that shape the developments of the future
- Information for volunteers about developments.
We are continually developing, and always have space for new volunteers. Click on the links below, to read more about volunteering to help others, volunteering to help the Trust and volunteering vacancies.
Anyone interested in volunteering can begin the process by completing a Volunteer Interest Form. This needs to be completed and sent back by post to the address on the form. We require your signature on the document and so are unable to accept this form by electronic mail. Volunteers also must be willing to supply two character references before they can take on a role with the EPT. All volunteers and staff are required to undertake a period of training. We always have space for another willing volunteer. You can see our Volunteer Policy here. Our postal address is as follows:
The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust,
c/o 2nd Floor, Golden Jubilee Wing
King’s College Hospital
Denmark Hill
London
SE5 9RS
Once we have received your form, we’ll be in touch to talk to you about what training involves and the kind of things you might like to do with us.
