Helpline Service
Telephone helpline
We provide a telephone helpline, offering support and information on all aspects of ectopic pregnancy, as well as offering a sympathetic and understanding ear to those who have suffered the pain and trauma of the condition.
Call 020 7733 2653
Our helpline is open to callers on normal working weekdays from: 10 am to 4 pm.
A reduced service may operate during busy holiday periods. When busy or if you call outside office hours, a 24 hour answering service is available for you to leave a message. Our helpline operators will always try to return your call on the same day, but certainly within 3 working days, if a message is left. Please note, we are not an emergency service. If you have a medical concern or feel you need to speak with someone urgently you should contact your doctor or other health care provider in the first instance. The Samaritans also offer a 24 hour service in the UK if you feel you are distressed and need to speak with someone when we are not able to take your call in person.
If you need to speak to someone about your medical concerns more quickly and our helpline is not available for any reason, if you are in England or Wales you could contact NHS Direct on 0845 46 47 or visit the Welsh website. If you are in Scotland you can call NHS24 on 08454 24 24 24 Visitors from elsewhere will need to refer to their regular local or “out of hours” health provision. In Northern Ireland, The Department of Health, Public Services and Safety are there to support you
