Organise a pamper evening

Organise a pamper evening, grab a few friends, pamper yourselves and support the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust. A pamper evening can be as big or as small as you like. Ask your friends to help you and set up something at home on a smaller scale to the thinking big suggestion below.

Thinking big?

If you are aiming high and you have lots of friends, belong to a social network or organisation which gives you contact with lots of people you know would support you or simply have a big employer where you have lots of work friends who would be willing to come along, thinking big is easy.

Plan your pamper evening

Take a look at your friends, contacts and colleagues – what do they do? Hairdresser, does someone sell Virgin Vie, Avon or other party plan stuff? Who does Reiki, hypnotherapy, Indian head massage? There’s nothing to stop you getting in touch with the local town salons and asking if they’d like to send someone along to support your pamper evening.

Get your friends or representatives from local salons and services, to commit to take part. Ask them to donate £5 for having a stall and or get them to agree to give you a percentage of their profits for the evening. The ideas are they offer their services for charity to your payng guests. They offer dry haircuts, shoulder massages, make up lessons and makeovers, in return for donations or fixed costs and also get the opportunity to promote their products and services at the same time. They are especially likely to say yes if they know they can sell their products at the same time and if they’ve agreed to give you a percentage of their takings then you can’t lose.

Decide upon a venue and a date

Local schools, church halls, community and leisure centres will often hire out their hall for low fees especially when they know you are raising money for charity.

Contact us and tell us the date and location of your event and we will send you out a fundraising pack to help you on your way.

Get in touch with local business, ask them to donate a small raffle prize you can sell cloakroom tickets for on the evening of your event.

Organise someone to bake, and offer refreshments if you have access to a kitchen area. Then get cracking on your PC and print off some flyers (if you want to use the EPT logo you must contact us first.)

Charge an entrance fee £2

You could also offer an entrance fee of £5 which includes one free treatment or £10 and three free treatments.

Finally, make sure your family and friends all promote your pamper evening, ask the local leisure centre, contact the local churches or any other groups and tell them about your evening, supply them with your information flyer and then sit back and welcome your guests on your pamper evening.
