Thank you so much to Martyn who this year ran in the Brighton Marathon.
We are so very grateful for Martyn’s fantastic support in raising funds and awareness, he has raised a huge £1,382.65 which really will make a massive difference to us at the trust in helping to continue providing the support, information and education to all those affected by ectopics. Martyn and his wife had very sadly suffered from a ruptured Ectopic pregnancy in 2010.
Martyn felt that turning 40 was the kind of milestone that can bring on a midlife crisis. Doing his first ever marathon seemed to be a healthy response to this and in his words cheaper than buying a sports car! He did brilliantly finishing the marathon in 3 hours and 58 minutes. He thoroughly enjoyed the day getting great support from his loved ones and locals who came out in force to cheer the runners on, Martyn even got a high five from Jo Pavey at the start!
Here he is enjoying a well earned relax on the settee post marathon!
