You can make a donation for a purple star pin badge a limited edition 10th Birthday lapel pin or keepsake online but the minimum donation accepted by The Charities Aid Foundation Bank, on our behalf, is £5 ( or the equivalent in a currency, other than GBP Pounds Sterling). If you are happy to make a minimum donation of £5 for these items, please do so here, then email us with your name and address, telling us if you'd like us to send you a badge or keepsake. Please send a cheque or postal order for at least £2 per item, in an envelope, together with your home address and a note that clearly tells us if you want a badge or the cell phone/lanyard keepsake. We will package and post the item you have requested (UK only please contact us if you are outside the UK and we will let you know how much you need to donate in lieu of postage). The keepsake is handmade to order, so please allow 14 days for delivery. About The EPT star lapel pin badges

There is a story behind the badges, and it's a sad one. In July 1999 Angela Hillier, aged only 29, died from an ectopic pregnancy. At the wake held in Islington her friends raised over £2,500. They gave this money to The Trust with the request that it should be used to raise awareness and more funds for The Trust. With their co-operation (purple was Angela's favourite colour) an attractive five pointed silver-look star badge was designed by Lyn Rockley of Klacto Animations (the original designer of the Trust's logo: have you noticed the woman sign in the shadow?). These stylish pins are now worn by thousands of women, who have purchased one for themselves and often one for a friend or a member of their family and wear them as an act of remembrance for their babies. About the cell phone/lanyard/handbag keepsake

The cell phone/lanyard keepsake is exclusive to The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust and are handcrafted by our volunteers to order, so that you can carry a small bespoke keepsake, as a way of remembering something precious, which was lost. The keepsake can be attached to a lanyard a handbag or mobile phone for example, and includes a heart shaped charm, a mother of pearl purple shell bead in The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust's signature colour and a pair of tiny feet. Please allow at least two weeks for our volunteers to make your keepsake especially for you.

About the limited edition 10th Birthday pins

These pins have been minted in a limited edition to celebrate our 10th Birthday. They are a design created by a cooperative our our supporters and the artwork has been adopted as our Birthday design for all of our Birthday activities in our Birthday year. If you live outside the UK but would be interested in owning one of the above items contact us and we'll try and find an affordable way to get the items to you and agree a donation which reflects the cost of postage and packaging.
