Support During the Holidays

This time of year can be difficult for those who are dealing with loss and grief. The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust works hard to ensure there is support for anyone coping with bereavement through ectopic pregnancy over the holiday period. If you are looking for support, there are lots places that you can turn to.

If you need health advice or have concerns about symptoms you are experiencing and need to talk to a healthcare professional, you have a range of options.

If you would like health advice and to speak to a healthcare adviser/professional, you can call NHS111 by dialling 111 any time or call NHS GP at Hand.

If you are in Scotland, you can speak to NHS24 on 111.

Sometimes people just need to express themselves and talk about their experiences and emotions.

The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust message boards will be available over the holiday period. Our call-back helpline service means you can leave your contact details over the holidays and we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange a call.

You are never alone and there is someone to listen day or night at the Samaritans. You can phone, email or write. The circumstances do not have to be extreme and one of the most common reasons people call is bereavement.

However you choose to mark this holiday time, we hope the season is gentle on you and we at the EPT send you our good wishes for the coming weeks and year ahead.
