Re: Anxiety

Laursie - don’t feel pressure to go back to work too soon. I had 7 weeks off after having emergency surgery and losing my tube. Go back when you feel ready. The routine of doing normal things might help you but there’s no rush. You have been through so much and it can feel difficult and overwhelming...

Re: Anxiety

Hi Orla, I’m really sorry about your loss and everything you’ve been through. It is a very traumatic thing to go through, especially with the surgery but I’m pleased for you that your tube could be saved. It is normal to feel sad and helpless at a time like this. You’ve been through so much. You do ...

Re: I'm finding this all a bit traumatic

Hello ladies, I was reading all the posts on this thread and just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. I had a ruptured ectopic in June 2016, I’d only been married for 3 months and what felt like an amazing fairytale all came crashing down. I had emergency surgery and my left tube removed....

Re: Success stories needed - 4 losses

Hi Donna and Toby, I’m so sorry for your losses and this recent one too. It’s heartbreaking to hear that you have been through so much. Life is cruel and unpredictable and just not fair sometimes. Have you ever received counselling? I’d recommend it if it’s something you haven’t tried, it helped me ...

Re: Dealing with pregnant colleagues?

Hi Mouse672, Firstly, I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. I hope that you are recovering as well as can be expected. It’s very difficult in an office to get away from it all. It might not feel like it and this isn’t particularly helpful right now, but things will get easier for you. I had a similar e...

Re: 3 ectopic the worst yet

Dear Hellsbells18, I am so sorry for your loss. Please speak to someone, it may help. You don’t have to cope on your own. Do you have friends or family that you feel you can speak to? This is all so raw and fresh at the moment. Take all the time that you need to try and heal. Sending lots of love to...

Re: Should I tell??

If you feel comfortable telling him then I would consider it. His reaction may surprise you and he may want to offer you support. If you don’t have any desire to see him again or don’t want support from him then it’s probably not worth telling him. I hope it goes well, whatever you do. I’m sorry for...

Hope this helps someone

Sorry this is a long post but a positive one ... I had a ruptured ectopic in June 2016, at 6 weeks pregnant, and lost my left tube. My husband and I had only been married for 3 months and were devestated by the ectopic. We started ttc in October 2016 and it took us a whole painful year to finally fa...

Re: Counselling

Hi Yas2017, I had a ruptured ectopic 17 months ago and I've been having counselling for about 8 months. I go roughly twice a month and I've found it really helpful. It has been a good outlet for my emotions and things I feel like I can't say to anyone else. I would recommend it to anyone who has suf...

Re: Update-there's always hope.

Thank you for posting this. Congratulations on your little miracle. I find it hard to read some of the posts on the forum and mainly look for happy ending stories so thank you. It's almost a year since my ruptured ectopic, I had one tube removed. We've been trying to conceive for around 6 months now...
