A positive story for all that needs it!

I'm sending this message because this time last year I had just been admitted to hospital with an ectopic pregnancy. I was waiting for surgery but as I was stable I wasn't a priority. Just over 24 hrs later I lost my right tube and baby (and part of my sanity!!). It was [heck]. Physically i was fine...

Re: Feeling guilty - found out at abortion clinic

Hey ladies, hope you are keeping well. I am nearly at my 1 whole year since my ectopic, lost my right tube! I am also 2 weeks from giving birth. I remember sitting in hospital on the phone with my mum crying not understanding what was the point of this happening. Although this last year has been tou...

Re: Bloated and swollen

If I remember it took me about 1 month to be comfy in jeans I was in dresses and leggings, anything that didn't rub the scars and came up to my waist! I also had a urine infection to do mabey its worth checking that one out. That was back in march 2017 and I am now 32 weeks pregnant and feeling like...

Re: Just not coping

Hi just read your original message and I just want to say embrace the bad days, use them to talk about it, please do not bottle it up! I'd go as far as talking to someone professional I lost my right tube back in the beginning of march and same as you came home had a 2 year old to look after and was...

Re: I’m not ‘ok’

Hi I had an ectopic pregnancy back in march, had my right tube removed. I felt as if I was loosing the plot on some days, especially in the first 3 months! I was lucky enough to fall pregnant again after 3 months so I think that helped but I would have had my baby by now and I have been very teary t...

Re: Ectopic and bowel movements

Hi there, all I remember from my ectopic is that I could not fart!! As with you apologies for tmi!! I personally would avoid laxatives, have you tried a few dried prunes or something a little less harsh?? I'm sorry about what you are going through, ectopic I mean not constipation. Look after yoursel...

Re: My story

Hi sorry to hear of what you went through! Our stories are pretty similar, I obviously had my treatment with th nhs in the U.K. And can't fault them one bit! They were brilliant in the hospital with me. I lost my tube in march. On a happier note I am now 15 weeks pregnant again, conceived with my on...

Re: Possible ectopic. Anyone just gone through it?

Hi, sorry for what you are going through! It sucks!! I have surgery in the beginning of march and lost my tube. My son had just had his second birthday and he is a child and a half!! It was ok. I'm also self employed and had to go to work 2 days after coming out as I had no money, and a empty fridge...

Re: Learning more about ectopic pregnancies and pregnancy af

To be honest with you I'm actually pregnant again, I sound super fertile, I'm really not!! I had a scan at 5.5 weeks and they could see a sack in the right place with s heartbeat! Mad what a week or so can do! I did feel that I could have done with a little more reassurance but I guess as I already ...

Re: No tubes so where do my eggs go?

Hi I asked the nurse while in hospital and she said it just drops out and dissolves, I like to think of it as a little shot of protein! Don't worry ladies we won't be in the shed each month laying eggs!!

Re: First period post ectopic

Well I'm 2 weeks past my period and pretty sure I have just ovulated! Had symptoms at least. Must say first period was a breeze but I do have longer nose bleeds than periods usually so I guess this one was heavy in comparison. I'm having cramping now tho. I'm quite uncomfortable and feeling due in s...

Re: First period post ectopic

I found my first period quite overwhelming, good that things are happening but it really does draw a line under what has happened. Part of me wanted to be pregnant again but I think time is such a healer. I have downloaded an app which tracks periods, you can put on any symptoms just to keep an eye ...
