Hi Leila No worries, this site really helped me when I was in such a dark place after my ectopic and so I want to support others where I can. I was extremely lucky and fell on our first time of trying after the ectopic. However, the beginning of the pregnancy was a nightmare. My hgc didn’t rise prop...

Hi Leila Just wanted to say I know exactly how you are feeling. I had an ectopic pregnancy in May 2017. It was honestly the most terrifying, traumatic thing I have ever experienced and it still impacts on me today. I too felt like I’d never have anymore children (already had a little boy) and convin...

Thank you all for the good wishes.
I am always happy to chat to anyone, answer questions about the recovery etc if anyone thinks it would be helpful. I know being able to talk to others who understood how I felt, really helped me to come out of the horrible place that I was in.
Best wishes xx

Hi everyone, I just wanted to come back on here to tell my story and hopefully give some hope to people who have recently gone through an ectopic pregnancy. I had an ectopic pregnancy back in may 2017. It was a horrific experience and left me with no left tube. I honestly honestly thought I was goin...

Hiya, I had my right tube removed in may this year and I fell pregnant again in August. This was after two cycles and our first time trying again. I'm incredibly lucky. Touch wood all seems to be ok and I'm 18 weeks.
Good luck things will work out in the end x

Thank you for replying. Hopefully it will settle down. To be honest I'm just so grateful it's back in such good time and in line with when I thought I ovulated. I don't think I could bare waiting 10 weeks for it!

Hiya I started my first period yesterday evening, it started 28 days after the first day of my post op bleed and 14 days after I thought I ovulated so I'm hoping this is a good sign in terms of my cycle going back to bring regular. I guess I will just have to wait and see. I know on this website it ...

Oh god, how awful for the midwife to call you! Just what you need! Yes it's so scary. I had my surgery overnight on a Friday. I was due to go on holiday to turkey the next day. On the Thursday I went to my Gp and clearly stated I was concerned it was ectopic due to my symptoms, but she obviously tho...

Hiya, I'm so sorry for you feeling so bad. I had my right tube removed almost 4 weeks ago and it is only in the last few days that I've started to feel a bit better. As hard as it is, I have come to realise there is no choice but to try and look at the positives. If you don't, you will spend your li...

I started sleeping comfortably on my side at around the 3 week mark. Before that I was exactly the same as you, propped up with about 5 pillows! Anything else really hurt. I haven't attempted exercise yet and don't think I will for a while for fear of hurting myself. It's so traumatic, by far the sc...

Hiya Sorry you are feeling so awful. I'm coming up 4 weeks post surgery and just starting to feel better! I had my right tube removed and my incisions are where yours are. On the left, belly button and middle ish by my pant line. I think it must give them a better angle. I have been so very anxious ...

Hiya I had my right tube removed almost 4 weeks ago. I have felt some strange stabbing type pains on my left side which totally freaked me out, however that is the side of the incision so I think it is due to that. Is yoir incision on your right side? I've been driving myself crazy at every little p...

I had my right tube removed just over three weeks ago. For the past few days I've been having discomfort when I push to go to the toilet, this is to pass stools or urine. It is also uncomfortable when I laugh. I have also had Intercourse 3 times now, the third time was uncomfortable when the penetra...

Hiya, I would really appreciate some advice to put my mind at ease. I had my right tube removed just over a week ago. I've had absolutely no pain on my right side, but lots on my left. Even down my left leg and around to my hip. I do have a wound on my left side rather than my right, could this be w...

Thank you so much for replying. Congratulations, that's brilliant news and is so good to hear a positive story. You will be looked after and offered early scanning this time around. I'm sure everything will be fine! I'm doing ok. A day hadn't gone past yet where I haven't sobbed, but I'm hopeful tha...

I'm so sorry for both of your losses and hope you start to feel better. I too have recently had surgery for an ectopic on my right tube. I too took the morning after pill, purely as a precaution after an accident with my long term partner. I'm not on any contraception as we were going to try more to...

Hiya, Firstly to say I'm so sorry that this has happened to you. I completely understand how you feel. I also had my right tube removed on Friday overnight. I was 5 weeks and 3 days and had been thinking something was wrong for around 2 days. The whole thing was a nightmare from start to finish. My ...

Thanks Violinda. I'm having a ct scan tomorrow as the hospital still seem to be worried about a clot. I did have another funny turn last night where I was short of breath, feeling faint and having some chest pains. I think it may be a panic attack, but it's good the hospital are being so thorough I'...
