Re: Help with these crazy emotions.

I am feeling a lot of the same things. I have been doing very light yoga / stretching and long walks, and started cooking more and eating healthier post MTX, focusing on improving my health as a way to cope. I don’t have a lot of answers but I do want you to know it’s normal to feel this way and I t...

Re: Separation pain

I wound up going to the ER because the pain was focused in one area, it was worrisome and went on for several hours, off and on. They did a blood test and ultrasound and everything was fine - my hcg even dropped ~40% since my last blood test only 36 hours before (28 to 16). Note: My hcg levels have ...

MTX traveling abroad

I live in the US, and was traveling to Paris for work when I started experiencing symptoms that led me to the maternity ER. They've diagnosed it as ectopic, and I've been treated with MTX. I'm now on Day 4 post MTX, and my hcg hasn't dropped yet (according to today's blood test). I'm scheduled back ...

I hear you on focusing on your numbers and healing. This has been pretty traumatic so far for me, so I haven't started processing it fully. This was my first pregnancy.

Re: Anyone had methotrexate? When did you feel it "kick in?"

I felt it a few hours later. Very tired, cramping and some stomach upset. Nothing too awful. It sounded worse than it was for me. But I'm on day 4 now, so I'm not sure if there is more to come.
