It’s your right. Surgeons always talk in terms of the patients right and left. Not a stupid question

Hello ladies, Thank you all for sharing your experiences. It’s a bad situation but good to feel like I’m not alone. Please keep posting and let me know what happens to you and how you feel. I’m feeling better and doing a lot of walking as I’m not allowed to hit the gym yet. Keeping busy looking for ...

Hi Kate, It’s nice to hear from someone who’s experienced something similar. Physically I’m a bit better. Less tired and less pain. But one of my incisions looks a bit weird and still hurts when I move. Mentally some days I’m fine, some I cry. Sometimes I’m impatient to get on with life. Sometimes I...

Hey kelst82,
Sorry for all that’s happened. I can totally sympathise. It’s so unfair. We had 5 rounds ivf and only the one pregnancy. Then the ectopic. Now minus a tube and less chance than ever.
Totally get your anger but l just feel defeated. It is so unfair x

I had the normal post surgery slight bleeding, then nothing, then very light bleeding for a few days. Now nothing again. I know it’s not a normal period after an ectopic is removed but this has been hardly anything and I’m 8 days post surgery. Anyone else had this experience?

Anyone else feel like they haven’t any more tears left? I just feel numb and dead inside. Not sad just sort of glum. I feel like the most likely thing is that I’ll never get pregnant again. But if I do it will probably be ectopic again and put my life in danger again. And that doctors won’t think it...

Hi. I only had surgery to remove a tube a week ago. But I’m also surprised at how tired I feel. I’ve been at home doing nothing but still slept 10 hours last night. Not like me at all. I wondered if it could be to do with the blood loss, but they said there was only 400ml when they operated. I don’t...

This is interesting. I’ve had one tube removed and been reading that despite this some of the eggs can be attracted by the other tube. But how does this happen? Does the egg float around the outside of the womb and then go down the tube that’s still ok? And when the surgeon removes the tube do they ...

Thanks Stephanie. This forum is useful because although I have a great support, unless you have experienced these things I don’t think you get it! I’m starting to hurt a little less now, and sleeping a bit better. I can’t really have much longer than 2 weeks off because I’m self employed so not earn...

Thanks for answering. It’s good to know there’s someone there. And that other people have experienced this. It’s like a loss, but doesn’t seem real as I never allowed myself to enjoy being pregnant and it’s hard to get my head around. Plus I’m taking time off work but there are still things that nee...

I had laproscopic surgery 4 days ago to treat ectopic pregnancy and ruptured tube. I had the tube removed. I had a swollen belly before probably due to the internal bleeding and after due to the surgery, but it’s hardly reducing at all. How long does it take to go? I can’t fit into any normal clothe...
