Re: Feeling numb, can't acknowledge what's happened to me...

Hi, That was me in 2019. Very similar experience although I did not realise I was pregnant until I was in the back of an ambulance realizing what was going on when they asked if I was pregnant. Afterwards I was so numb. My husband and I wanted a child so badly and age 30 was upon me. I was depressed...

Re: Ruptured Ectopic- emergency surgery

Been there, not a club I want to be a part of, but feel like I can definitely give some advice. Almost the same thing happened to me. Started throwing up randomly at work, next thing you know I'm passed out on the bathroom floor, not being able to sit up without passing out with some really sexy amb...

Re: Recovering and returning to work

My experience was basically the same as yours..it took me 6 weeks to physically be able to get back to normal aka start going to the gym and feeling decent again. Mentally it was hard for a couple months, but it gets easier. I'm about 2 and a half months post op. I still have some aches and some bad...

Being open and talking to my partner and friends who have gone through miscarriages helped me feel less alone. I'm two months post op. I h...

Re: First Pregnancy -Etopic :(

My first pregnancy (7wks) was ectopic too. I had surgery at the beginning of December and lost my right tube. I'm 3 weeks post-op and physically I've improved a tonne. It is super hard to sleep and emotionally I think I'm getting worse. Still trying to process everything. The main thing that has hel...

Re: Help...

Definitely advocate for yourself. The earlier they take care of this the better. Go to a different hospital if you need to, but make sure they do something to help you asap.

Sleep Problems

I had an emergency laparotomy to remove my pregnancy and right tube 3 weeks ago. I was about 7wks and didn't know I was pregnant. Physical pain is okay and I'm managing with neoproxen and the occasional tylenol. Since then I have been struggling emotionally more than I thought I would. My main probl...
