Re: Irregular bleeding

Thank you for your replies , that’s reassuring as I felt like what is wrong with my body now , especially as I’ve always been so regular. I didn’t bleed too much after the op maybe just for 7-10 days then had a period after 5 weeks so just assumed my body would go back to normal with my periods. We ...

Re: 1 week post surgery

Hi Georgia, I felt exactly the same felt like something massive had just happened to me , then got discharged and was left to research about the future. I got a leaflet but still had and still do have lots of questions and it’s been 7 weeks now. It’s such a worrying time , I was anxious about doing ...

Re: Rising HCG, ectopic

Hi Carlene, Yeah sounds very similar to me as they said pregnancy of unknown location firstly when HCG was 2600, then could be seen in the tube at 18,500 but with the hormones increasing the consultant was still puzzled as she said , makes it scary when they’re saying they’re puzzled and intrigued !...

Re: Wound ? Infection

Hi Mary, Sorry to hear of your recent ectopic , I was sent home from the hospital with some spare dressings they advised to leave them on for a couple of days (I put fresh dressings on after the shower). Re: Rising HCG, ectopic

Thank you very much for your reply Karen, it’s reassuring to speak to women who have unfortunately experienced this awful, uncertain time. What really scares me for the future is EPU will scan us from 6 weeks but at 5 weeks 2 my hormones was 7200 and at 5,5 my hormones was 18,500 so far too late to ...

Wound ? Infection

Hi ladies, Has anyone had problems with their wounds post op? On Sunday my lower wound was oozing and increasingly painful, the nurse took a stitch out which helped the wound and it’s healed well. However since then I’ve noticed a blister looking lump in my belly button and it’s oozing green/smelly ...

Thank you for your replies, Amanda I am so sorry what you have been through, its such an anxious, emotional time. It is completely understandable, Some days I feel I can't wait to be able to try again, other days I think what if I have to go through this again- but as you said Amanda every one is di...
