Hi Alexis What a frightening experience for you. Don’t feel like you are wasting anyone’s time. This is their job and I’m sure they care about all their patients equally. Above all, considering you had a blood transfusion on your last visit, I think you’re entitled to make sure you’re ok to say the ...

Hi Jesse Sorry to hear you’re going through this. I am struggling too. Days after my last miscarriage, my sister in law announced she was pregnant again. It was Christmas Day too, so really hit me. Then a friend of the family announced they were expecting. Then an ex work colleague ...and then anoth...

Hi Heather I wanted to ask this question a few weeks ago and never got round to it so I’m so glad to see your post here. I asked my gynaecologist about penetrative sex after a single dose of methotrexate and she said it was fine and that I could carry on as usual. My levels were low however so perha...

Hi Stikl I have been asking myself the same question, however I didn’t have any surgical procedures for my EP, only methotrexate. I did however ask the gynaecologists regarding Covid injections and they said it was absolutely fine to do so even before my hcg le els are back to ‘normal’. As we live in...

Hey Esb27 Thank you for your message! So so happy for you!😀 how lovely to be back to normal so to speak. Any luck on getting an appointment with a specialist? I live in France and all the Drs here have said that there’s nothing in particular that causes an ectopic for sure and nothing we can do to p...

Thank you Esb27 for your lovely message. I’m so sorry to hear you have been through this 😞. How are you feeling at the moment? Did they say to wait at least 3 months before trying to conceive again? Did you change your diet after taking methotrexate? So many questions 🙈 I had my Day 3 bloods taken y...

Hi Jenna01 Sorry to hear you’re going through this. It is such a rollercoaster ride. A home pregnancy test can test positive from 25hcg some can test even below this amount. It might take your body time to get back to 5 or less Hcg which is when they consider back to ‘normal’ so to speak. Let your G...

Thank you so much Karen for your message. It’s really reassuring reading what you wrote. You are right, I am having my first lot of bloods taken since the methotrexate injection so I am preparing myself for a rise and to try not to panic. My next bloods are Monday. Since my Hcg levels were only 107h...
