Re: Starting with low hCG levels

Sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy. My levels were really low (65-75) but stayed static for a couple of weeks and I then developed pain so was treated with methotrexate. After the shot it resolved within a week. I was given advice to rest as even though my numbers were very low there was still ...

Re: Infection after ectopic pregnancy- has anyone else experienced this?

Hi

I’m still in the same pain I was when I posted. The GP said it was infection and gave antibiotics and did swabs which since came back negative so I am awaiting a scan for further investigation.

Hope you get some answers x

Re: Anyone else in the UK still waiting for a fertility referral?

I have waited 6 months and finally have an appointment through in July. This was after contacting pals though and think I would have waited longer if I hadn’t complained.

Pain after methotrexate

I was treated 10 days ago with methotrexate for an ectopic pregnancy. My hcg levels are now only 12 and I have been discharged. I am still experiencing mild pain is this normal? How long should I expect this to continue? I was hoping to be back at work next week but I have quite an active job. Thanks
