Spotting During Ovulation after Ectopic

Post by kadamek »

I'm having some spotting/light bleeding one month post ectopic and rupture/removal of my left tube. Is this normal? I haven't ovulated since my second surgery, so I don't know what to expect... Also having some cramping and a little pain on my left side which is the side the tubal rupture and pregnancy were on.

Dear Kadamek,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss,
If this is a month after your ectopic pregnancy, it could be that this is your first period which can be a lot lighter than expected. Is a diary of this to see if there is any pattern.
If there is any chance of pregnancy, I would advise seeking urgent medical advice with these symptoms. Pain is also very subjective so If there is no chance of pregnancy but you are concerned about the pain please speak to your GP or medical team

Sending much love,
Karen x
