HCG Rising after surgery

Post by Nicwood30 »

Had keyhole surgery on 19th Jan, hcg levels now rising. They've found a cyst and some free fluid but don't seem like they know what's going on, so fed up I could scream!!

Dear Nicwood30,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss and your continued concern, my heart goes out to you.
It is not common for hCG levels to rise post surgery and I am hoping your medical team are closely monitoring you and your levels.
I completely understand why you feel you could scream, and if you need to, let it go and do it. It is so frustrating when we just want to get back to 'normal'. I would feel exactly the same as you.
Whilst I do not wish to alarm you, as you have rising hCG levels, if you experience any bleeding, abdominal or shoulder tip pain or feel dizzy and unwell, please seek urgent medical advice.
We are all here for you for support or for you to let of steam.

Sending much love,
Karen x

Thanks Karen, they are keeping an eye it's still rising slowly. Back to hospital Monday unless any bleeding or pain then straight back x
