Post surgery complications

Post by Firstecpreg »

Hi all

I had a caesarean scar ectopic in January and have been in pain ever since on my right side.

I'm constantly suffering deep pain, made worse around ovulation. I've been grumpy and demanded follow up scans via my GP and they've finally decided one of my tubes was damaged during the surgery and now the scarring is causing pain.

They've recommended I have it electively removed to try and get pregnant. I don't know what to think about this or how to feel. Does anyone have any advice?

It feels like a nightmare which won't end

Dear Firstecpreg,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss,
Many women, including myself experience pain post ectopic pregnancy and scar tissue is known to be a cause.
Unfortunately I am not medically trained so cannot give you specific advice on your options and if you have any queries or questions regarding options, I would advise writing them down and discussing them with your Dr.

Sending much love,
Karen x
