HCG levels 2 weeks after surgery

Post by LavaLamp2019 »

Hi All

It has now been 2 weeks since I had my surgery. My HCG is still positive, albeit only 27, how long does it usually take to return to 0?

They usually say 3 weeks following a miscarriage, so would think after surgery might be the same. Depends the starting point though. Mine took 7 weeks from the beginning of the loss but I was very slow. I went from 48 to 27 in 5 days then I think one week later i was discharged at 5.3

Dear LavaLamp2019,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss,
Following ectopic pregnancy, it can take a few weeks for hCG levels to fall to non pregnant levels, it is reassuring that they are reducing.
Sending much love,
Karen x
