Period pain

Post by Laura8 »

Hi
In 2017 I had my first ectopic pregnancy and had my tube removed. Last October I had my second EP and again I had my remaining tube removed. Since then I have been having regular periods however they seem to be much more heavier than before and are very painful. They do not last as long (couple of days to 3) but the pain can be unbearable at times and is always in one side as if my tube was still there. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this after losing both tubes. Thanks x

Dear Laura8,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancies and losses. To experience one loss is difficult, to deal with multiple losses is heartbreaking and my heart truly goes out to you.
Pain can be common post surgery for ectopic pregnancy but yours appears to be quite intense so I would always advise discussing any pain with your Dr.

Sending much love,
Karen x
