Dear Trixie229,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss.
As I'm sure you have been told by your drs, cervical ectopic pregnancies are very rare.
If you are having your surgery tomorrow, I presume the ectopic pregnancy was found, before it has become an emergency from a rupture. I know it's scary thinking of surgery and sadly the Drs do have to tell us all the worst case scenarios but planned surgical treatment for cervical ectopic pregnancies, such as yours have a much better outcome in preserving fertility.
I will be thinking of you tomorrow and sending positive thoughts and warm hugs,
Much love,
Karen x

Hello,

I had a cervical ectopic. I had to have a d&c due to two failed attempts of methotrexate and I had a big bleed out prior to having to have a d&c. I was scared that I would of had to have a emergency hysterectomy but I would only need it if the bleeding wouldn’t stop. Luckily I didn’t need it and the d&c worked x
