I'm so sorry to hear that you are having pain from the scar left from the surgery. Because scar tissue forms after surgery, it is possible that we feel this tissue in different ways, even well beyond the operation, where we wouldn't have noticed that spot previously. However, not being medically trained, I'd also suggest to keep an eye on it and note when/where it hurts if you take any pain relievers for it, and for peace of mind, taking this information to share with your GP.
