Celiac and ectopic

Post by Bankhead11 »

Hello
I have just found out I may be coeliac and also had an ectopic pregnancy earlier this year. I've read that there may be a link between the two and just wondered if anyone else had experience of being in this situation or had any info on this?
Thank you for any replies.

When the surgeon did my salpinectomy he found massive pelvic adhesions making my insides into a huge ball of rigid scar tissue. I have been tested for celiac disease and allsorts but nothing was found from the inside of my organs or scans. You could only really tell from cutting me open and seeing the outsides of my insides if you know what I mean??? I got to see the photos and now understand my weird tummy pains and which exact organ or part is pulling on what... maybe this helps???
