Pregnant From Ectopic Side

Post by KGC3630 »

Hi ladies

I am looking for hope! I had an ectopic in my right tube, treated with methotrexate successfully. Recently had an HSG and it shows that my left side is blocked.

HAS ANYONE CONCEIVED SUCCESSFULLY From their ectopic side?

Any replies would be appreciated!

Dear KGC3630,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss,
We do hear of women who successfully conceive from the side of the ectopic pregnancy.
Many women may not be informed which side they have conceived from either so it may be difficult to get many replies.
Importantly, help is available if conceiving naturally has not yet been successful after some time trying - and the EPT advises that women under 35 should seek medical advice following 12 months trying to conceive and those over 35 should seek advice after 6 months.

Sending much love,
Karen x
