Just been diagnosed with my 2nd Ectopic, Dr has proposed MTX treatment. Where do I go from here in terms of TTC? Should I try again or go straight to IVF? I’ve o my ever been pregnant twice and both have been Ectopic

I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancies and losses. To experience one loss is difficult to deal with multiple losses is heartbreaking and my heart truly goes out to you.
It is natural to be worried after everything you have been through. Sadly even with IVF there is the risk of ectopic pregnancy. However it is important to remember that help is available and your doctors should book you in for an early scan at around six weeks to check that the embryo is in the right place. I am not sure where you are located but if you are in the UK you can also contact your local Early Pregnancy Unit direct and self refer for an early scan. This can also give you peace of mind that you have the care available should you need some reassurance.
We do hear from ladies who successfully conceive following multiple ectopic pregnancies, there are in fact a few recent posts on the other boards
Sadly I am not medically trained so I would advise talking through your options with a fertility specialist. We have more information on trying to conceive including a section on assisted conception here-
