Will I get help? 2 ectopics, 2 surgery's.

Post by shelleytracey »

Hey people.
Quick background.... i had my first ectopic pregnancy 6 years ago now, which I ended up loosing my right tube. 2 years later I had another ectopic but the amazing doctors managed to save my left tube and saved my life aswell.
I went to the doctors last year to see if there was anything they could do to help me have a baby as we've been trying for so long now and because of covid they said to keep trying to another year. It has been another year now and still no baby 😒 i don't want to mither the doctors as I know its a really bad time with the pandemic, but I'm so worried because I'm 34 now and have been trying for so long..... I just don't know what to do anymore..... any suggestions? Or inspirational stories please would help.
Thank you for reading xx

Dear Shelleytracey,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancies and losses. To experience one loss is difficult to deal with multiple losses is heartbreaking and my heart truly goes out to you.
I would honestly suggest going back to your GP and asking for another referral to a fertility specialist. I am not sure what they are offering in your area due to covid, but at least you will be in the system once they start seeing patients again.

Sending much love,
Karen x
