Body after ectopic

Post by Zoe and Snug »

Hi!
After my ectopic pregnancy, over a year ago now, I have quite a strong vein on my left breast. My breasts were so, so sensitive and tender in the very short time I was pregnant, and this vein appeared then.
Why is it still there? I have not been pregnant since.
I don't mind, it reminds me of my baby.
Just wondered if anyone else has experienced any other physical marks on their body as I didn't think this was very usual.

Hi Zoe and Snug,

Thank you for your question. I'm so sorry that you've experienced an ectopic pregnancy and loss. Unfortunately, I'm not medically qualified to comment on your specific situation. During ectopic pregnancy, your body is pregnant and may register signs of this pregnancy. However, I'd always recommend speaking with your GP about the appearance. It may be good just to let them know and provide you some piece of mind in having the conversation.

With good wishes,

Michele
