I don’t know what to do

Post by Vickieb88 »

Hi,
I’m a bit unsure of what to do and where to go? If I’m overreacting or not… and wanted some advice

I have been sterilised by clips(biggest regret), had surgery in March to find out that 2/3 clips have migrated and that my right tube look healthy, fast forward to last week… 5 days late for my period, 2 positive pregnancy tests 2 negative, now I know the risk of ectopic is higher spoke to my gp who told me to go to urgent care.. off I go, pregnancy test was negative and my hcg was low, was told that due to the positive pregnancy test it was most likely not a viable pregnancy and that my body is in the process of naturally sorting itself… the gyne doctor told me that my period was probrably about to come and to come back if the pain I was getting doesn’t go away or get worse, the pain is on and off… now a week later my period still hasn’t come and I am exhausted like am struggling to get through the day, I feel sick, my gp only accepts e consults and the nearest one is Monday, I don’t know what to do whether to see what happens over the weekend or go back to urgent care, I don’t feel right in myself I feel weak, I don’t want to overthink and work myself up but I don’t want to be a pain and waste medical time if that makes sense I’m at a loss what to do but I just feel awful

Dear Vickie,
I am so sorry to hear of your worries.
Unfortunately I am not medically trained but would advise if your symptoms are worsening to call NHS 111. If you have any worsening pain or develop dizziness and are unwell, please seek urgent medical advice by attending your local A&E or calling 999.

If you cannot get through to your GP on Monday, please call NHS 111.

Sending much love,
Karen x
