Infection after ectopic pregnancy- has anyone else experienced this?
I have been told that have I have infection in my Fallopian tube which could be caused by the ongoing dissolving mass. I have antibiotics to take.
Just wondering if anyone else had experienced this? Can’t find any info online.

I’m still in the same pain I was when I posted. The GP said it was infection and gave antibiotics and did swabs which since came back negative so I am awaiting a scan for further investigation.
Hope you get some answers x

I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss and your ongoing pain.
It can be quite common to experience pain following treatment for ectopic pregnancy as your body has been through a great deal. The pain may be due your body preparing to ovulate and many women experience ovulation pain when they did not before their ectopic pregnancy - including myself. You also may have a heightened perception because of the sad loss that you have had to go through. Pain however is very subjective and I am glad you have asked for medical review. I hope you get some answers soon.
Sending much love,
Karen x
