Anyone else?

Post by Michelle555 »

I had surgery about 4 weeks ago for an ectopic pregnancy and suffered a miscarriage two years ago. I am now 43 and basically facing the fact that I won’t have children now. Not sure if this is really the forum for this post but wondered if anyone else is in the same situation? It’s been hard dealing with what’s happened to me recently but the bigger picture I’m now facing is so difficult and I don’t know anyone else in the same situation.

Dear Michelle,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and losses, to experience one loss is difficult, to deal with multiple losses is heartbreaking and my heart truly goes out to you.
We do have a Living Life Without Children board for you to look at for support. Reading others experience may help.
I would however suggest speaking to a fertility specialist (if you haven't already) to discuss your history and options. If you are in the UK, you can request referral via your GP.
We will be here for you for as long as you need,
Sending much love,
Karen x
