Flying

Post by Chichi »

Hey ladies..

I have 2 lots of methotrexate last one been 11th August. On that day I asked if I was OK to fly in 4 weeks the doctor said yes.. then yesterday then nurse spoke to a consultant and then phoned me to say they strongly advise against flying, as my numbers was so high all the way through, even though now they are at 68 hgc. I'm due to fly in 3 days time . I'm a support worker for a gentleman so the holiday is his holiday. My first gut feeling was to go but now I've slept on it I'm so unsure . Has any one flown while still under the hospital...

Dear Chichi,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss,
We would also advise not flying until your hCG has reached pre pregnancy levels. This is as there is still a chance of rupture even with low or declining levels. We would advise to follow medical advice.
Sending much love,
Karen x
