Faded positive test

Post by Kelly_C »

Hi, I had an ectopic pregnancy in July. at 7 weeks they removed the pregnancy along with my left tube due to being partly ruptured. Me and my husband have been trying again for the last 3 months with no success just yet. Although My period was late this month by 4 days, I took a clear blue test and it had a faded half line?? I was getting all the pregnancy symptoms as before so was a little confused. My period was a light pink watery colour mainly when wiping after going to the toilet. This was for about 6 days and on day 7 I had a heavy bleed, day 8 it was light again and that’s that. Could this of been a miscarriage? I am worried about another ectopic also.

Dear Kelly_C,
Sadly I am not medically trained and with such limited information, it is difficult to identify what is going on.
As you are concerned about the bleeding, that it is not usual for you, I would advise speaking to your GP who could always organise a blood test for hCG.
Whilst I do not wish to alarm you, if you experience any worsening bleeding, abdominal pain, shoulder tip pain, or feel dizzy and unwell please seek urgent medical advice by attending A&E.

Sending much love,
Karen x
