Sickness post surgery

Post by LouiseW23 »

Prior to my diagnosis I suffered with really bad morning sickness (in the evening) it has been 4 weeks since my emergency surgery where my right Fallopian tube was removed. All my pregnancy symptoms subsided more or less straight away post surgery however the last 7 days my evening sickness seems to have come back with a vengeance. Has anyone else experienced this? And is it normal?

Dear LouiseW23,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss,
Sadly I am not medically trained so cannot give you specific advice on your symptoms.
Vomiting can occur with any number of ailments including a tummy bug, however, whilst I do not wish to alarm you, it can also be signs of something more serious such as an infection post surgery. I would always advise you speak to your GP or medical team just to be on the safe side.

Sending much love,
Karen x
