Thought I was pregnant after my ectopic :(

Post by Jodie Sabina »

Hi ladies

I had a ruptured ovarian ectopic Christmas Eve 2017 my ovary is still working they hope which is good anyway

We did the deed twice in my ovulation week this month , I fort I was 100% pregnant as he last 3-5 days I’ve been feeling exhusted , nausea, weeing more , I am not due on my period until this coming Friday ......
I went into GAU last night as I’ve been having baseball period cramps which are going into my back fort I would be best to get myself checked ..... she did my HCG levels and they were 2 :(
Does that mean I’m defiantly not pregnant ? With being due on in 4-5 days or is their still a possibility
:(
Thankyou x

Dear Jodie Sabina,
It is very difficult to predict pregnancy in the early stages as it would also depend upon when you ovulated and we are all unique in this aspect.
At this time a hCG level of 2 is a negative test, but it could also be early days.
My advice would be completing a home pregnancy test on the day you were expecting your period, if this is negative and you still haven't had your period, retest a week later.
Sadly I do have to remind you that if you experience any unusual bleeding, abdominal pain, shoulder tip pain, bladder or bowel problems or feel dizzy and unwell please seek urgent medical advice.
Sending much love,
Karen x
