Baby after two ectopics and miscarriage

Post by Bdetimc »

This forum helped me tremendously through those darkest days so I decided to come back and share a positive story. My six week old baby girl sleeps soundly next to me. There is hope after all so please don’t give up.

I had two ectopics in 2021, first ruptured resulting in me losing the left tube, second was cornual, methotrexate didn’t work and I had to have surgical removal again. I had never heard of ectopic pregnancies and suddenly to have two in a row - I had never even had surgery in my life. It was extremely traumatic. I remember shedding so many tears day after day and feeling so depressed like nothing good will ever happen to me again.

In 2022 after waiting for the methotrexate to exit my body I was pregnant again. When I found out at 7 weeks that it wasn’t going to develop normally I felt almost numb, like if you don’t expect anything you won’t be disappointed. I had a D&C.

I was lucky to fall pregnant again and this time after a wonderful nine months my perfect baby daughter is here. I still can’t believe I made her she is so sweet. Miracle does happen and I am forever grateful.
