Missed Period Advice

Post by Scriv2020 »

I suffered a ruptured ectopic pregnancy back in May and have been TTC ever since.

This month I have missed my period but I have taken a number of pregnancy tests and they are all negative.

I am concerned that there could be something wrong and if this could be the start of another ectopic pregnancy?

Dear Scriv,
I am so sorry to hear of the worrying time you are going through.
Generally speaking doctors will count a cycle of up to 42 days to be within normal limits. If you have not reached this time frame, we would advise taking an early morning pregnancy test in a week. If you have not had your expected period after 42 days please seek medical advice. Whilst I do not wish to alarm you, I also need to advise to seek urgent medical advice with any unusual bleeding, pain or you feel dizzy and unwell.
I hope the next week.brings some answers.
Sending much love,
Karen x
