Ectopic pregnancy
Ectopic pregnancy
I'm new here, I was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy in the right tube on October 18th.. so far I've been treated with expectant management, I was due to have methotrexate on 24th but I went into hospital on 23rd with what I can only describe as period cramp.. I had another US where I was told nothing had changed there were no sign of rupturing and that the likelihood was the pain and spotting was due to my body attempting to resolve the pregnancy itself and to hold off on the injection, I had bloods taken last night and got a call today to say my HCG levels are suboptimally rising and so I am due to go in for methotrexate injection (they are going to phone Monday with a date) my current levels are 1600ish how likely is it for my body to respond to the first dose?
Sorry for the long post
