Hey Lau,

I had surgery in late Oct and I started bleeding a week after it - I believe it's the uterus living coming part, so perhaps what you are experiencing at the moment? Nonetheless, trust yourself if you feel things are worrisome and get them checked out. Better safe than sorry! Sending good thoughts your way. I was quite freaked out likely for similar reasons to yours when my bleeding started a week post op, so just wanted to share my experience in case it helps.

Dear Lau,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy loss,
Pain and bleeding are common following treatment for ectopic pregnancy. You should be able to manage the pain with medications given to you by the hospital or over the counter pain relief and you should not be bleeding so heavy that you are needing to change sanitary wear more than hourly. If this is not the case or you are concerned, do not hesitate to seek medical advice.
We have more information on physical recovery from ectopic pregnancy on our website which I have copied here and I hope you find useful.

Sending much love,
Karen x
