Hannah and John's Story
We decided to climb Ben Nevis which is the highest mountain in the UK to raise money for The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust.
We decided to do this because sadly we have had two losses with our most recent happening in May being Ectopic.
It’s a heartbreak we wouldn’t want for anyone and 100% the hardest thing we’ve ever gone through, not only losing our baby but also dealing with the emotional and physical effects of an Ectopic pregnancy. So we wanted something positive to try and focus on, that is when my husband came up with the fundraising idea. The support that the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust offer emotionally and with information given out is amazing and we wanted to be able to contribute towards them being able to continue that work.
If anyone is thinking of doing the same we would recommend decent walking boots and poles. It’s very stoney terrain and we saw a few people roll their ankles because they were in trainers.
